As a first time buyer, trying to buy in the midst of COVID, she was a great choice for me because she helped explain to me what was happening in the market and helped to manage my expectations. She was very responsive to my requests for showings and asked all the right questions when we were looking at properties. She has been in the business for a long time and also helped me find a good lender, lawyer, and handyman. I would highly recommend Kit to other first time buyers!

Her presence is calming, because you feel taken care of and protected, like you could share your secrets and she wouldn't bat an eyelash or judge an ounce. She's got an incredible emotional insight, a high EQ, and while she may have a sense of what you need, she's going to help bring you towards that on your own. We needed someone to help us to coordinate a move from out of state which is a daunting task. We are a non-traditional family and Chicagoland is a big place, parts of which are better suited to our needs than others. We found Kit to be knowledgable, helpful, and just plain likable. She helped to link us to resources to facilitate our home purchase and to help us establish our lives. While we've completed our home purchase, I don't think this is the end of our relationship with Kit. Down the road we plan to do some remodeling and will seek out Kit's advice on potential contractors and what changes would help our home's resale value and what to avoid. Someday, when the time comes for us to move again, we'll use Kit to help us with that move as well. Kit Welch was awesome! Over and over she demonstrated exactly what we needed from an agent. From our first phone conversation and throughout the buying process, Kit's expertise and tenacity reduced our anxiety. She had our backs. We could contact her easily, day or night. She always responded quickly and professionally. She seems made for the 24-hour-a-day demands of a real estate agent. There were some issues with the condo we bought and the selling agent was, shall we say, less than honest. Kit got to the bottom of it all tactfully and with dogged determination. This was our first time buying a condominium in a large building. Many times Kit brought issues to out attention that we needed to consider. Without her, we would never have even thought of them.
